Hello! I am

I am a UI/UX Designer focused on creating intuitive, accessible digital experiences through a structured and research-driven design process. I graduated from Kennesaw State University with a Bachelor of Science in Interactive Design and have a background in architecture from my internship at JAQ Corp*, where I developed a strong foundation in systems thinking and technical precision.

Being recently diagnosed with ADHD has sharpened my awareness of how users process information, motivating me to design experiences that reduce cognitive overload and support clarity and focus. I thrive in cross-functional environments that value accessibility, collaboration, and intentional user-centered design.

*More on my architecture background later

Architecture

My design journey began in architecture, where I learned to think spatially, solve complex problems, and balance aesthetics with functionality. While interning at JAQ Corp in Chicago, I collaborated with engineers on four restaurant projects, creating technical drawings, drafting site plans, and designing floor plans.

This experience taught me how to plan meticulously, communicate visually, and manage projects with precision, skills that now guide my approach to digital design. I bring that same structural thinking to UI/UX: organizing information clearly, designing with purpose, and ensuring every element serves the user.

Interests That Shape My Design Thinking

Outside of work, I engage in hands-on and analytical activities that reinforce my approach to structured problem-solving, accessibility, and systems thinking.

Baking & Food Science

Baking has taught me how precise inputs and small variations can significantly impact outcomes. This reinforces my attention to detail, iterative testing, and respect for structured processes in design.

Learning New Languages

Studying new languages strengthens my empathy for users navigating unfamiliar systems and reinforces my focus on clarity, accessibility, and intuitive communication.

Drawing & Visual Exploration

Drawing allows me to quickly explore and communicate ideas before transitioning into wireframes and structured design systems.

Cross-Disciplinary Learning

I enjoy learning across disciplines that involve rules, systems, and constraints, which supports my ability to design solutions that balance user needs with real-world requirements.

3D Wooden Puzzles & Diamond Painting

These activities sharpen my patience, spatial reasoning, and ability to work through complex, detail-oriented systems, skills I apply directly to UX problem-solving.
